Academic Facilities

Academic facilities are primarily located in the T.A. Hegre Ministry Center. Ted Hegre founded Bethany Fellowship International in 1945. He taught that “we are free from the power of sin, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, and are enabled to live lives marked by holiness and effective service.” He died in Singapore doing what he loved: training men and women to reach the world for Jesus Christ.

The T.A. Hegre Ministry Center - named for Ted Hegre, pastor, teacher, missionary, and founder of Bethany International – houses classrooms as well as library and dining facilities.

The Hegre center contains 15 classrooms. Each room can hold from 40 to 80 students, and is equipped with high-speed wireless internet, and various audio-video capabilities.

The Hegre Center

The classroom not only plays host to lectures and discussions, but also serves as a computer lab and after-hours study center when class is not in session.

Our classrooms are roomy with lots of natural light and are arranged for Socratic dialog.

The campus library serves not only as an excellent source of knowledge and study materials, but also provides students with a place to study on campus outside of the classroom and dormitories. Wireless high-speed internet is available in the library.

The Library

There are several comfortable study areas located throughout the Hegre center which are available for student use at various times.

Student Zones

In addition to the Hegre center, the campus also plays host to Bethany Church. The building’s sanctuary seats upwards of 700, and provides an excellent venue for larger gatherings and events, such as graduation ceremonies or special evening sessions which might be open to the public. Part of the Rivendell Sanctuary program’s appeal is our desire to share guest lecturers and other events with the larger community. The Bethany Church facility enables us to do so.
