Financial Matters
We know that if you are a family with college-bound children, you are likely concerned about the increasing costs of education. Your decision to send your son or daughter to Rivendell tells us that you value a quality education and are willing to make the sacrifices to demonstrate that value. We applaud your commitment and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to your child's education. We are committed to preparing young men and women to excel academically, spiritually, morally, socially and physically at Rivendell and beyond as cost effectively as possible.
We believe that the responsibility for funding this education must be shared between students, their families, and Rivendell. Working together as a team, we believe Rivendell Sanctuary can be affordable for every student.

Federal Grants and Scholarships
Our current accreditation status (still in-process) keeps us from being able to offer federal financial aid such as Stafford or Perkins Loans, Pell Grants, etc. for the first 2 semesters of the January 2011 term. To offset this, a special promotional institutional aid package is available for January 2011 term students (see institutional aid). For the Fall 2011 term, federal funds can be accepted from the very first semester. All families interested in Rivendell, whether for the January class or future classes, should still apply for federal financial aid using the FAFSA in early February – March. Rivendell’s FAFSA school code is: 012031. Find the application here: www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Institutional Aid
Rivendell also offers institutional financial aid through the Take Back Education Scholarship Fund. This Fund is a partnership between private donors, the National Christian Foundation, and Rivendell Sanctuary. More information on the Fund is available at www.takebackeducation.org.Students qualify for the Fund once they are accepted by the Rivendell Application Evaluation Committee. Accepted students are contacted individually to apply for assistance from the Fund.
